Aspiring authors, it’s time to finish and send in your manuscripts. The deadline for submission to the ArmadilloCon 41 Writers’ Workshop is Friday, June 14, at 11:59:59 PM.

Writer/editor Patrice Caldwell has confirmed as our Editor Guest. She’s published Middle Grade and Young Adult books at Scholastic and Disney. She edited an upcoming speculative fiction anthology, A Phoenix Must Burn, and is currently working on a vampire novel.

Howard Waldrop has confirmed that he will be a program participant at ArmadilloCon 41.

Our Hotel Liaison has talked with our contact at the Omni. Our room block has been adjusted to include more double rooms. So ArmadilloCon members can once again reserve rooms with two beds at the convention rate.

Some ArmadilloCon members have reported difficulty reserving rooms with more than 1 bed at the convention hotel. Our hotel liaison is looking into the problem, and he expects to resolve the situation soon.
