He holds a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Houston, and an MFA in Popular Fiction from the Stonecoast program of the University of Southern Maine. He has freelanced and volunteered in a variety of capacities for publishers of books and magazines both large and small, and reviewed books for major genre publications.
