THE SHAMSHINE BLIND, my debut novel, was selected as one of Library Journal&#8217;s best SF\/Fantasy reads of 2023, one of Crimereads&#8217; best debuts of the year, and one of the San Francisco Chronicle&#8217;s Best Books of 2023. My writing has also appeared in Modern Love, LitHub, and Crimereads. I spent three dreamy years in Austin getting my MFA from the Michener Center for Writers and tasting all the tacos (I still dream of the carnitas at La Fruta Feliz).
