Lindsey Carmichael will be appearing at ArmadilloCon 2025!

Lindsey Carmichael is a queer disabled writer from Austin, Texas. Her work has appeared in the fantasy anthology Traveling Light from the Hugo-finalist podcast Worldbuilding for Masochists, as well as Reconnecting to the Body, Analecta, and Hothouse. A mutant by birth and a cyborg by science, Lindsey multiclassed as a hedgewitch and two-time Paralympian. She set a world record in archery in 2004 and won a bronze medal in 2008. As of the Paris Games, she remains the only US woman to win an Olympic or Paralympic archery medal in singles since 1996.
