Josh Rountree<\/a> is an Austin based novelist and short story writer. His new novel The Unkillable Frank Lightning<\/a><\/em> is billed as “Frankenstein in a Wild West Show” and his new novella Summer in the House of the Departed<\/a><\/em> is a West Texas haunted house tale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several collections of his short fiction have been published, including his most recent, Death Aesthetic<\/a><\/em>, featuring tales of death and transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rountree lives with his lovely wife of many years, and a pair of half-feral dogs who demand his obedience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
